Featured on AutoHunter.com, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. All four wheels are powered by an M96 3.4-liter flat-six, which is mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. Features include xenon headlights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, 18-inch Sport Classic wheels, automatic climate control, a Becker Porsche radio, a replacement IMS bearing, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. Finished in Speed Yellow and equipped with a black cloth power-retractable top over a black leather interior, this 996.1 911 is now offered with a CARFAX report, the original owner’s manual, and a clear title.

The Speed Yellow body sits under a power-retractable black cloth soft top. Exterior features include paint protection film on the hood, xenon headlights, heated power mirrors, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The CARFAX report shows this car received damage to the left front in 2007, damage to the rear bumper and a taillight assembly in 2012, and minor damage in 2014.

This 911 rides on a set of 18-inch Sport Classic wheels wrapped in 225/40 Pirelli P Zero front and 265/35 Continental ContiProContact rear tires.

Inside, the black leather seats are accented with yellow seat belts. Conveniences include power windows, power steering, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Becker Porsche stereo. The front trunk contains the spare tire.

Important vehicle information is displayed on a 180-mph speedometer, a 7,800-rpm tachometer, and coolant temperature, fuel, oil pressure, and voltage gauges. The digital odometer shows 87,592 miles; the CARFAX report indicates 87,600 miles as of July 2024.

Under the rear engine cover is a naturally aspirated M96 3.4-liter flat-6 that’s equipped with dry-sump lubrication. When new, the engine was rated at 300 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, the IMS bearing was replaced by Inmotion Motorsports LLC in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The engine is connected to a six-speed manual gearbox and sends power to all four wheels.

Handling is assisted by front and rear stabilizer bars and Porsche Stability Management. Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Porsche-branded calipers help bring this all-wheel-drive 911 to a stop.

The auction for this 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet ends on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. (PDT).
