Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain Sequoia and Tundra vehicles produced from April 2024 to July 2024. Approximately 12,000 vehicles in the U.S. are involved in this recall.

The inner sidewall of the passenger-side front and rear tires may have been damaged during vehicle assembly. If structural damage has occurred, a tire may suddenly lose air pressure while driving, which could result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

For all involved vehicles, Toyota dealers will inspect all tires and replace damaged ones free of charge.

Owners of involved vehicles will be notified by mid-December 2024.

Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter. To see if your vehicle is involved in a safety recall visit Toyota.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate information.

For any additional questions, Toyota customer support is also available by calling the Toyota Brand Engagement Center (1-800-331-4331) for Toyota vehicles.
