Though the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport gets an upgrade with more tech and capability. Here are the most important things to know about this refreshed SUV.
Next-level off-roading unlocked
Perhaps the biggest change comes in the form of the Sasquatch off-road package, which adds trim availability for 2025. Previously only available on the Badlands, it is now also available on the Outer Banks model as well. The package will include 29-inch 235/65/R17 Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires, Bilstein rear shocks with piston-sensitive damping, standard front brush guard, steel skid plates, steel bash plates and four recovery points.
Outside of the Sasquatch package there are other off-road goodies available on the 2025 Bronco Sport as well. Badlands trims get a Rally G.O.A.T. mode, and all trims will get a new Off-Road G.O.A.T. mode. You’ll also see things like Trail One-Pedal Drive, Trail Control, a 360-degree camera with Trail View as well as a new Black Diamond Off-Road package available on the Big Bend trim.
Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is standard
This safety suite is now standard on all trims. It includes auto high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane centering and evasive steer assist.
The Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 is available on the Outer Banks trim and standard on Badlands. It includes a 360-camera with a split view, automatic reverse braking and speed sign recognition.
2025 Ford Bronco Sport gets more tech
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport now gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition to the new 13.2-inch infotainment screen (think 2025 Ford Maverick) and Sync 4 operating system. This is in addition to the 12.3-inch standard digital cluster.
More accessory-ready features added
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport better integrates the modular and accessory-ready elements with Bronco Bolts. The bolts with the bucking bronco logo signify parts that owners can replace to suit different needs. Front and rear bumpers are new with modular points to which accessories can be added. Plus, front fenders on Outer Banks Sasquatch and Badlands models get integrated tie-downs for another secure point to attach rooftop loads and gear.
Arrives late 2024
The 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend, Outer Banks and Badlands trims will hit dealers in November 2024. Bronco Sport Sasquatch won’t arrive until early 2025. We have no pricing information at this time, and Ford Motor Co. says it will be shared closer to on-sale dates. So, we’ll likely see pricing toward the end of October.
The bottom line
We’ve always liked the baby Bronco, and we’re excited to see these techy and off-road upgrades. We’ll share more details as we have them.
