The 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali can now get upwards of 460 miles of range with an available Max Range package and more Sierra EV models are on the way.
2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali range
GMC says the new Sierra EV Denali will get 460 miles of range with the Max Range package which is 70 miles more than the base 390 miles.
The Sierra EV Denali comes with these features:
- 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Max Power mode
- 800 Volt DC public fast charging-capable at up to 350kW, enabling up to 100 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes
- Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, which provides the ability to raise or lower the truck by about 2 inches, while also offering a more comfortable ride
- The MultiPro MidGate expandable bed, which offers room for hauling items nearly 11 feet in length, while still leaving room for a rear-seat passenger
- Available 10,500 pounds max towing
The 2025 GMC Sierra EV is available in six colors:
- Summit White
- Thunderstorm Gray
- Onyx Black
- Dark Ember Tintcoat
- Deep Ocean Metallic
- Moonlight Matte
Customers can shop for a new Sierra EV Denali at their dealerships now starting at $91,995 for the extended range or $100,497 for the Max Range.
Other Sierra EV models coming
A new GMC Sierra Elevation and GMC AT4 should be coming out in the first quarter of 2025.
The Elevation should have a lower price point like the Silverado EV LT that starts at $75,195 with less range and less features.
For the AT4, it should have more off-road capability with more aggressive tires which will cut range, but add more capability.
The bottom line
It is still early days for electric trucks and it will be another year until the full line-up of GM electric trucks are fully revealed. Then, it will be a game of trying to get one with production slowly ramping up.
