The 2025 Nissan Armada sees a significant redesign to improve everything including performance, design, technology and more. It also includes a new PRO-4X grade.

New 2025 Nissan Armada exterior design

The 2025 Armada sports a redesigned exterior with a rugged yet refined appearance.

New features like full-width LED tail lights, available 22-inch wheels, and optional two-tone roof treatments complement its adventurous design.

Nissan’s advanced camera assistance technologies, including the 3D Around View Monitor, Front Wide View, and Invisible Hood View, make navigation easier, especially in tight spaces or off-road conditions.

Enhanced comfort and technology inside the cabin

Inside, the new Armada offers improved comfort and connectivity. Features include available massaging front seats, dual 14.3-inch screens with Google built-in, a class-exclusive 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System, and 64-color ambient lighting.

The vehicle also has a 24% increase in cargo space and enhanced legroom in both the first and third rows.

2025 Nissan Aramada PRO-4X trim

The all-new Armada brings increased off-road capabilities by introducing the PRO-4X grade. This trim features all-terrain tires, improved approach angles, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension, providing drivers with enhanced capabilities for outdoor adventures.

This mirrors the direction rivals like the Chevy Tahoe Z71 and GMC Yukon AT4 have moved with their more off-road-oriented full-size SUVs.

New Twin-Turbo V-6 engine

The 2025 Armada introduces a new twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V-6 engine replacing the outgoing 5.6-liter V-8 engine. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and can tow upwards of 8,500 pounds. Official details on horsepower or torque for the engine haven’t been revealed.

Advanced Driver Assistance features

The 2025 Armada comes equipped with Nissan’s most advanced hands-off driving technology, ProPILOT Assist 2.1, available for freeway driving. In addition, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across all Armada grades.

The 2025 Nissan Armada will be available in late 2024, with pricing details to be announced closer to the release date.

The bottom line

The new design really helps the 2025 Nissan Aramda stand out from the competition and dropping the sluggish and thirsty V8 should help give it some oomph off the line. Also, the PRO-4X trim matches up with what competitors have been moving towards for a few years. This is a really good redesign for the full-size SUV.
