The Audi e-tron GT has been quietly going about its job in the United States, having enjoyed its best year on the market in 2023. The pure-electric sports tourer started reaching Audi dealerships in the U.S. in July 2021, and since then has gained subtle styling upgrades and more standard features. The e-tron GT is a cousin to the Porsche Taycan, sharing the same J1 platform.

Three versions of the e-tron GT are available in America: Premium Plus, Prestige, and the RS e-tron GT, all of which come with Quattro all-wheel drive as standard.

e-tron GT customized via Audi Exclusive

While you can read my first look review of the U.S.-spec 2024 Audi e-tron GT to know about my thoughts on the all-electric grand tourer, the variant featured in this article is customized through the official Audi Exclusive personalization program, with options that I couldn’t find on the Audi USA website. I thought it was interesting enough to feature it in a news article.

This example was exhibited at the Audi stall at the Mobility Live Middle East 2024 Expo held in Abu Dhabi earlier this month, which I visited. The exterior is finished in Ibis White, and the car is fitted with special dual-spoke all-black wheels. It gets gloss black finish on the bumpers and lower doors.

The interior is where I saw a significant change on this example. The stitching, enclosures on the center console, AC vents, and seat tape are specified in Iguana Green. I see the same fluorescent green spilling on to the steering wheel grip, and in the same spots on the rear seat.

The Audi executive at the stall said that I could either customize the vehicle using the online configurator, or visit the dealership where I could see the available options to customize the vehicle. The parts of the e-tron GT that can be customized include the primary color, interior contrast color, stitching, custom paint, and seat tape, as well as center and front console options.

Futuristic design

The Audi e-tron GT looks genuinely futuristic. Upfront, it gets Audi’s signature singleframe grille with honeycomb-patterned graphics, a pair of Matrix LED headlamps, and a large air dam that channels air to cool the floor-mounted battery. The ‘Sportback’ rear and the sloping roofline are prominent elements from the side profile. At the rear, there’s a thick LED light bar connecting the LED taillamps.

Feature-rich interior

The e-tron GT comes with a plethora of premium features as standard. It features leather-free seat surfaces with Dinamica microfibre upholstery, three-spoke flat-bottom steering wrapped in Alcantara, aluminum paddle-shifters, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment system.

TopElectricSUV says

The Audi e-tron GT is improving its sales performance on the back of minor exterior and interior upgrades and revised packages, and the power of Audi Exclusive customization. There’s no doubt that these changes have made it a more appealing electric grand tourer. In comparison to the Porsche Taycan, it’s more attractive to American customers who value comfort above performance.
