Featured on AutoHunter is this 59,573-mile 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible, one of 1,800 built for the model year. It is powered by a 365ci V8 with dual quads backed by a four-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission. Features include the Autronic Eye, a power six-way adjustable seat, four-wheel power drum brakes, and more. Painted Olympic White and equipped with a black convertible top and black leather interior, this premium Caddy comes from the selling dealer with 1994 restoration documentation, receipts, an owner’s manual, several extra parts, and a clear title.

The Olympic White hue is nicely complemented by a black power convertible top. Other exterior features include rubber-tipped “Dagmar” bumpers, a wrap-around windshield, a driver-side mirror, and chrome rear-fender bodywork. It is claimed that this car received cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in the early 2000s.

A set of 15-inch polished aluminum Sabre wheels are wrapped in 235/75 Coker Classic whitewalls.

The cabin has black leather upholstery and a six-way power front bench seat with an armrest. Other features include a black and white two-spoke steering wheel with a full horn ring, the Autotronic Eye, a factory AM radio, power windows and steering, and much more. An aftermarket CD player is connected to a remote speaker in the glove box and a CD changer in the trunk.

The instrument panel consists of a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the temperature and fuel, plus warning lights for the oil pressure and generator. The odometer reads 59,573 miles, which is believed to be original.

The 365ci V8 was factory-rated at 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This engine was optional for conventional Cadillacs but standard for Eldorados. It features dual quads and a distinctive gold air cleaner as well as matching valve covers. The engine is backed by a four-speed Hydra-matic automatic transmission.

The undercarriage consists of a coil-spring independent front suspension and a leaf-spring, solid-axle rear suspension. Power drum brakes are at all four corners. A dual exhaust system exits from the rear.
