Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 29K-mile 2006 Chevrolet Corvette coupe. As an early C6 Corvette, it is powered by an LS2 6.0-liter V8, which is connected to a six-speed automatic. Finished in Monterey Red Metallic over a black leather interior, this sixth-generation Corvette is now offered by the seller with owner’s booklets, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

The Monterey Red Metallic exterior features fog lights, xenon HID headlights, a body-color removable roof panel, and a glass rear hatch.

This C6 blasts down the road on a set of staggered-width 18-inch front and 19-inch rear chromed aluminum wheels wrapped in 245/40 and 285/35 Continental ExtremeContact tires, respectively.

The cockpit has heated, power-adjustable, black leather bucket seating for two. Features include cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with an AM/FM/XM radio and navigation.

Vehicle information is shown on a head-up display, 200-mph speedometer, 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 29,010 miles; the CARFAX report indicates a mileage reading of 28,984 miles from June 2024.

Under the front-hinged hood is a naturally aspirated. LS2 6.0-liter V8, which was factory-rated for 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. It comes equipped with drive-by-wire Electronic Throttle Control, a K&N intake system, and a quad-outlet dual exhaust system. The engine’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission that be shifted with the console shift lever or the shift paddles behind the steering wheel.

A four-wheel independent suspension helps this generation of “America’s Sports Car” hold the road. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS bring it to a stop.
