Featured on AutoHunter.com, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 2006 Pontiac GTO 6-speed, which is being run at a lower reserve price than when it was last listed in February 2024. It is powered by a tuned and modified LS2 6.0-liter V8 that sends its power to the rear wheels through a TREMEC six-speed manual gearbox. Finished in custom Slate Gray with a magenta metallic tint over a reupholstered black leather interior, this final-generation GTO is now offered with a custom car cover, service records, spare keys, clean CARFAX report, and clear title in the seller’s name.

Under previous ownership, the exterior was repainted in custom Slate Gray with a magenta metallic tint. Features include ground effects, fog lamps, dual hood scoops, tinted windows, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and a gloss black deck lid panel.

The stock wheels have been replaced with satin black 18-inch VMR V701 wheels wrapped in 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Nitto NT555 G2 low-profile radial tires.

Inside, the four seats have been reupholstered in black leather. Amenities include power locks, power-adjustable front buckets, aluminum sport pedals, cruise control, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and air conditioning. A Hinson Motorsports shift knob takes the place of the stock shifter. The factory stereo has been replaced with an Alpine AM/FM DVD/CD touchscreen unit that’s compatible with Bluetooth and SiriusXM.

Vehicle information is displayed on a 200-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The odometer shows 76,614 miles. In the January 2024 CARFAX report, the latest mileage figure is 76,496 miles.

Under the hood is an LS2 6.0-liter V8 that’s been modified with an XAIR Performance intake, custom coil covers, and an upgraded camshaft. According to the seller, the camshaft was installed and the engine was tuned in 2023. During dyno testing, the engine reportedly produced 410 horsepower at the rear wheels. In January of this year, the vehicle was inspected and the oil was changed.

Underpinnings consist of a four-wheel independent suspension and a limited-slip differential with 3.46:1 gears. Ventilated anti-lock disc brakes bring this GTO to a stop.

The CARFAX report’s history starts in 2006 and shows accident-free ownership in Texas since new. Although this GTO failed a Texas emissions test in November 2023 due to the engine tune, it passed in January 2024 and is street-legal.

The seller posted a video below that shows the engine running and a vehicle walk-around.
