SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. June 18, 2024 – Barrett-Jackson will kick the excitement into overdrive at this year’s Scottsdale Fall Auction with the Future Collector Car Show (FCCS), a family-friendly show dedicated to celebrating the passion and honoring the craftsmanship of the next generation of collector car enthusiasts. To be held Sunday, October 13, 2024, at WestWorld of Scottsdale, this year’s Fall FCCS will feature over 200 collectible vehicles representing the future of the collector car hobby.

“The Future Collector Car Show was started in 2015 to honor and recognize the passion and vision of the next generation of car enthusiasts,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The 1985 Renault R5 Turbo II that took home the FCCS ‘Best of Show’ title during our January Scottsdale Auction, is just one example of the rare gems you’ll discover at the event. It’s truly a melting pot of multiple generations of enthusiasts who not only love their vehicles but want to share their passion with the rest of the community.”

The Renault R5 Turbo II, winner of the January 2024 “Best of Show” title, was one of only 200 special homologation models built in 1985. A unique find from the 1980s automotive scene, only 3,000 R5 Turbo IIs were built between 1983 and 1986, none of which were ever officially sold in the U.S.

Vehicles on display during this year’s FCCS will be from a wide range of makes and models, including original, restored and custom builds that all reflect Barrett-Jackson’s commitment to preserving the future of the hobby. It is an experience where guests from every generation find common ground in their love of future collectibles.

Prior to FCCS on October 13, judges will hand-pick the top cars for each category from the applications submitted. The target year range for featured vehicles is 1980 to present day. The FCCS team will be looking for quality vehicles, highly modified enthusiast builds, rare or low-production number cars and unique or uncommon vehicles for the show. Every vehicle entered qualifies for the coveted Best of Show trophy, as well as other categories that include a People’s Choice award selected by spectators on-site.

The award selection includes:

  • Best of Show
  • Best Preserved
  • Best Restored
  • Best Period-Correct Modifications
  • Best Purpose-Built Performance
  • Visionary Award
  • Elegance of Heritage
  • Best Electro-Mod
  • Rookie of the Year
  • People’s Choice

Admission to FCCS will provide access to the entire Barrett-Jackson event on Sunday, October 13, including the auction car displays, the vast Exhibitor Marketplace, sponsor displays, and Hot Laps and Thrill Rides on the Barrett-Jackson Performance Track. Visit FCCS.Barrett-Jackson.com for additional information on how to enter your vehicle, award categories, tickets and more.
