Mercedes-Benz is marking a significant milestone: the 10th anniversary of the V-Class. This luxurious and spacious vehicle has consistently redefined its segment by merging utility with sophistication.

The V-Class was initially introduced in a limousine in XXL format, but it has eventually expanded into a versatile lineup to cater to diverse customer needs or preferences. Over the years, it has grown to include family-friendly models, high-end campers, and now, a recreational vehicle to round off the anniversary celebrations.

As a fitting welcome to its latest milestone, the three-pointed star marque has revealed the V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON. This latest offering is set to enhance the V-Class family with its refined design and functionality, targeting leisure-oriented customers.

The new model’s premium features and adaptability represent the next evolution of Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to innovation and style.

V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON Key Features

The new V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON combines high-end features with practicality. This positions the luxury van as a recreational vehicle suitable for diverse lifestyles.

The auto shares the refreshed V-Class lineup’s advanced updates and technological innovations. Starting at €58,939.95 in Germany, it includes a modernized exterior with a bold radiator grille, a redesigned bumper, and adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights. Stylish rear elements like LED lights and chrome accents complete its striking appearance.

Inside, the HORIZON impresses with a widescreen cockpit featuring dual 12.3-inch displays, enhanced air vents, and options for wireless smartphone charging. Comfort amenities include ambient lighting in 64 colors, KEYLESS Start, and optional steering wheel heating.

Meanwhile, the upgraded MBUX multimedia system enhances the driving experience with intuitive features and connectivity options, while advanced safety and assistance systems further elevate its appeal.

A Companion for All Occasions

True to its recreational vehicle designation, the V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON provides exceptional functionality for trips and daily use. It accommodates up to seven passengers and includes sleeping arrangements for five.

In addition, a reclining bench seat transforms into a bed, while the pop-up roof offers an additional sleeping space. Storage needs are addressed with spacious drawers beneath the bench, and standard sliding doors on both sides simplify access and loading.

Optional features such as an auxiliary heater, external power connections, and a folding rear table add to the vehicle’s flexibility. Six feature packages, including the AMG Line and Premium Plus options, allow customers to tailor the HORIZON to their preferences.

These packages introduce luxury touches like leather seating, four-zone climate control, and a 360° parking camera.

Versatility Built for Urban and Off-Road Activities

While designed for leisure, the V-Class Marco Polo HORIZON seamlessly adapts to daily routines. With a height of under two meters, it fits comfortably into standard garages and multi-story car parks.

On the other hand, the OM654 diesel engine offers power and efficiency, with the choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, ensuring it performs well in both urban and off-road environments.

Overall, the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo HORIZON not only honors a decade of V-Class success, but it also underscores its brand’s continued push for luxury and utility.
