An all-star cast of motorsport greats is set to take to the track at the Goodwood Revival on 6–8 September

The Goodwood Revival is a yearly highlight of the historic racing calendar, with multiple races taking place on the weekend of 6–8 September. The event is famously staged with a period theme, with visitors, drivers and staff all dressed accordingly. This year’s Revival is also set to make history as the world’s first historic motorsport event to use alternative fuels exclusively.

A range of famous racing drivers will be donning their best tweed suits and flat-caps for the event. Formula 1 world champions Jackie Stewart and Jacques Villeneuve will be in attendance, along with fellow F1 luminaries David Brabham, Derek Bell, Jochen Mass, Karun Chandhok, Max Chilton and Jean-Éric Vergne.

Drivers from other disciplines will also take to the track, including World Endurance Championship winners André Lotterer, Marcel Fässler and Neel Jani, along with Darren Turner, Emanuele Pirro, Rinaldo Capello, Romain Dumas and nine-time Le Mans winner and 2012 World Endurance Championship winner Tom Kristensen.

Touring car drivers in attendance will include BTCC champions Andrew Jordan, Colin Turkington, Gordon Shedden, Matt Neal and Tom Ingram, plus WTCC champions Andy Priaulx and Rob Huff. Big names from the world of American motorsport will include four-time IndyCar champion and three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, plus seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson.

Historic motorcycle racing will also feature with its own collection of famous faces, including ten-time Isle of Man TT winner and 15-time world champion Giacomo Agostini, along with 23-time Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness MBE, Bradley Smith, Carlos Checa and many more.
