Today’s episode of AutoHunter’s Drive the Bid Podcast is bittersweet. After starting with just an audio version in February 2022, changing hosts, and transitioning into an audio and video format, Diego Rosenberg, Luke Lamendola, and I have brought Drive the Bid to an end – for now, at least. The good news is we have different video content on the way.

It’s been a fun couple of years. We learned about upcoming new models, discovered each other’s tastes in automobiles, and shared a lot about the cool vehicles up for auction on AutoHunter.com. Along the way, we recorded episodes that became our personal favorites. Diego’s #1? When he and Luke talked trash about each other’s favorite vehicles. Luke is partial to a recent episode in which we discussed the strange things we’ve seen happen in cars, including someone shaving and a dog with sunglasses riding shotgun. The privilege of broadcasting around the impressive vehicles at the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction will always stick with me.

In addition to Diego and I saying our goodbyes, we make sure to mention our favorite new AutoHunter listings. Diego’s final two selections are a one-owner 2000 Honda S2000 that only has 29K miles on it and an eye-catching Sublime 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.

I pick a sleek 1962 Cadillac Series 62 convertible finished in Candy Apple Red and a handsome 59K-mile 1996 Chevrolet Corvette coupe with the 330-horsepower LT4 5.7-liter V8 for my last two cars in the segment.

As I mentioned, now that Drive the Bid is over, Diego and I (and Luke) will be coming out with new video content. You can find Diego and noteworthy vehicles in our Interesting Finds videos, which will be returning to the AutoHunter YouTube channel. Luke and I will both be reviewing new vehicles on the ClassicCars TV YouTube channel. As always, you can check out the cool items profiled in the Collectible Corner series, which is also on ClassicCars TV. And there’s more to come. If you haven’t already, make sure you subscribe to those channels so you can catch all our new stuff as it goes live.

In the meantime, we thank all of you who listened to or watched Drive the Bid. You could’ve spent that time tuning into anything else, but you chose our show. Please stay tuned for our upcoming videos.
