Here’s a great conversation starter if you’re ever around car enthusiasts you’ve never met: Ask someone to name a car they like and how they’d modify it. Just know that this may lead to a never-ending monologue.
On this week’s episode of AutoHunter’s Drive the Bid Podcast, Diego Rosenberg and Luke Lamendola ask each other those same questions, which leads them to sharing the dream modifications they’d make to the 2024 Ford Mustang GT and 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 1958. They could keep going on and on, but they manage to keep the discussion to a reasonable length for all of you listening or watching.
The guys also get into the news that Toyota is dropping the four-cylinder GR Supra for the 2025 model year. Fortunately, Toyota will continue to offer the I6-powered model with a six-speed manual gearbox. (You can watch our full review of a three-pedal 2023 Supra here.)
At the end of the episode, Diego and Luke go over their favorite vehicles currently available on AutoHunter. Luke points out a rotisserie-restored 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and a lifted 1982 Dodge W150 Power Ram equipped with a four-speed stick.
Diego tells Luke about a MCACN (Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals) Gold award-winning 1962 Chevrolet Corvette with a four-speed and a 1967 Corvette with a numbers-matching L71 427ci V8.
