The new 2025 Ram HD trucks will be revealed soon and now we have official images of what the new truck will look like.
2025 Ram HD
It is no secret, the 2025 Ram HD will be revealed later this year with full details on what’s new. Until then, we have some pictures and speculation on changes.
First, here are the official images Ram sent over.
Next, Ram says, “As we approach the reveal of our 2025 Ram Heavy Duty, the engineering teams are conducting final testing on one of our heavy haulers’ most important performance attributes: cooling.”
What to expect for 2025 Ram HD
With the new truck, we expect several new changes.
First, the word on the street is it will drop the lower output Cummins engine and go with the high-output Cummins diesel. This means the 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel I6 engine produces 420 horsepower and 1,075 pound-feet of torque will be the standard engine.
Second, it also means a transmission change could be in the cards. Right now, Ram uses an upgraded 6-speed automatic transmission to handle all that torque. There is speculation this could move to an 8-speed ZF transmission reinforced to handle the high-output Cummins. Ram has been using ZF transmissions for years now with great success.
Third, you can expect a whole range of new interior styling and materials.
Fourth, the truck will most definitely feature a new infotainment screen like found in the 2025 Ram 1500 and a host of new towing and safety technology.
The Bottom Line
It is has been long overdue for a new Ram HD truck and as we move closer to its reveal, Ram fans should be excited about what the brand has up its sleeves.
