CONCORD, NC – The highly anticipated opening of the Ten Tenths Motor Club will include the circuit’s first-ever sanctioned race when the Historic Trans-Am Series hosts its season-opening event during the Heritage Invitational April 3-5.

Historic Trans-Am racing celebrates the golden era of American motorsport, featuring the legendary muscle cars – not reproductions – that ruled the tracks from the late 1960s to early 1970s. These meticulously restored machines, driven by passionate racers, will bring a mix of speed and nostalgia to the short course at the all-new Ten Tenths Motor Club for two days of racing before going on display as part of the third annual Heritage Invitational concours.

“The Heritage Invitational was created to celebrate car culture and community. With the expansion to three days this year, we’re thrilled to bring a new element to the weekend through on-track events. The Historic Trans Am Series is the perfect way to highlight automotive history and speed while showcasing our innovative new circuit.” -Greg Walter, President and General Manager, Charlotte Motor Speedway

THE SCHEDULE:

Racers will take to the innovative 13-turn, 1.1-mile short course for the first time during practice sessions on Thursday, April 3. Final practice, qualifying and two feature races – one racing clockwise around the circuit and the second counterclockwise – will take place on Friday, April 4. On Saturday, April 5, the iconic machines will be staged for viewing in conjunction with the Heritage Invitational concours.

ABOUT THE HERITAGE INVITATIONAL:

New for 2025, the Heritage Invitational is expanding to three days, with two days of on-track action followed by the traditional concours, an assemblage of world-class automobiles from the industry’s top collectors. More than 50 vehicles representing eight unique classes – from super cars, Porsches and Lamborghinis to pre- and post-war American and European classics – will highlight the concours on Saturday, April 5. www.heritageinvitational.com
