Olympic

As the official Worldwide Mobility Partner of the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee, Toyota is working hard to support athletes and visitors throughout these special events. This article aims to shed a light on specific areas where Toyota is ‘going beyond‘ to provide mobility support for Paris 2024. It will be regularly updated over the next few weeks.

How Toyota is going ‘beyond’ for Paris 2024:

Improving safety for cyclists

During the Tokyo 2020 games, Toyota observed that some cycling teams had to apply additional visual accessories in order to quickly identify their team cars during the races. To improve on this for Paris 2024, Toyota proposed equipping all cycling team cars with liveries of their respective national flags. These graphics not only enhance visibility but also promote a sense of unity and identity among the teams.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK played a key role in this initiative, overseeing the application of these liveries as well as providing spacious Corolla Touring Sport hybrid vehicles for each of the 80 teams.
