Today we’re looking at this unique 1947 Chevrolet 3100 Good Humor ice cream truck, powered by a Weiand-supercharged 516ci V8 connected to a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission. It features a 9-inch Ford rear end, 35-spline Strange Engineering axles, an Eaton Detroit Locker differential, MSD ignition, 4.11 gears, custom rear springs, and 4-wheel disc brakes.

The original ice cream truck frame and rebuilt icebox with oak framing have been retained, but a customized hood, modified roadster doors, widened rear fenders, and a Porsche canvas roof have been added. This sweet machine sold at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Palm Beach Auction for $115,500.
