A lot of people thought Jeep was punching above its weight when it launched the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer with $60k+ price tags and a Grand Wagoneer that topped $100k in nearly all instances. Those are Cadillac prices. And Jeep is, well, not a Cadillac. With this Jeep Wagoneer price drop, we see a minimum dip of $3k, with the base Grand Wagoneer dropping $7k of the tag.

All this comes with more standard content. As Jeep says in its press release, this now makes the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer the most affordable full-size SUV.

What gets added to Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer?

The primary features called out as being added to the Jeep Wagoneer include 20-inch aluminum wheels, active lane management and adaptive cruise control. The Grand Wagoneer adds 22-inch aluminum wheels, a front passenger display, drowsy driver detection and intersection collision assist.

Plus, the Grand Wagoneer Series II Obsidian and Series III models add the new L2+ hands-free driving assist system as a $3,000 option. It will come with a three-year trial, and then will have a monthly or annual fee with pricing TBD.

Additionally, the high-output engine on the Grand Wagoneer gets tweaked to add power. New outputs are 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque.

What’s the exact Jeep Wagoneer price drop?

Looking at the press release, Jeep drops all prices by at least $3k. The biggest price dip is $7k, and most price drops are somewhere in the middle. The complete breakdown, pulled from the press release, is as follows.

Jeep Wagoneer price drop

Jeep Wagoneer price drop pulled from the Jeep media website. The prices drop between $3k and $7k, depending on model and trim.

As the screen grab indicates, the pricing doesn’t include the $2k destination fee, which doesn’t change year over year.

The bottom line

We think the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles are great. We’ve previously done a comparo of full-size three-row vehicles and determined that the Wagoneer has the best third row. But that price tag? Ouch. It’s still a little ouchy, but certainly a lot more affordable with the price drop.

Will the Jeep Wagoneer price drop, does this vehicle now enter your consideration?
