Reworked Land Rover Defender from specialist Kingsley Re-Engineered brings multiple modern and high-performance additions

Land Rover specialist Kingsley Re-Engineered has announced its new Definitive Defender series, offered in 90 and 110 configurations.

The original Land Rover Defender drivetrain remains – unless the customer specifies Kingsley’s all-new 4.2-litre V8, the other optional Chevrolet LS3/LT1 V8 engines or modern eight-speed automatic transmission – but is comprehensively rebuilt and now cooled via an alloy radiator and twin electric fans.

This is complemented by electronically-controlled active-damping suspension at standard ride height, as well as Stage 1 upgraded front callipers, all coupled with TA Goodrich all-terrain tyres on 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Kingsley will also tailor the interior to a customer’s spec, whether refurbishing the original trim, or a bespoke cabin with Nappa leather and Alcantara accents. Modernities such as a modern gauge cluster and Apple CarPlay can also be specified.

All paint and bodywork is completed on-site (unusual for restomod Defenders), so Kingsley guarantee the highest possible standard of finish.

The Kingsley Defender series in available to order from £140,000 plus VAT, and a configurator and more details can be found at kingsleydefenders.co.uk
