The new Mansory P950 and P880 offer serious performance along with unique exterior styling and a rather cushy interior upgrade.
Mansory is one of many tuners out there in the automotive world, but unlike some of its peers, has made headlines in recent years for churning out some of the wildest machines that bear, well, controversial styling and massive price tags. Some love these over-the-top creations, and some hate them, but enough folks keep buying them that Mansory continues to add to its catalog in that regard. Now, that has happened yet again, as the Mansory P950 adds both visual flair and big power to the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance.
The Mansory P950 certainly looks a lot different than the machine on which it’s based, as one might have expected, as that tuner has once again developed a series of unique body pieces that it developed in-house with an eye toward increasing downforce and improving handling performance. Those upgrades include a new front bumper with an integrated lip and carbon fiber side flaps, a carbon fiber hood with additional air intakes, a carbon fiber roof spoiler, carbon fiber side skirts, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and a new rear bumper with a diffuser, side flaps, and twin exhaust tips, to boot.
Underneath, the Mansory P950 sports a set of alloy wheels that measure 22×9 inches up front and 22×10.5 inches out back, which are wrapped with 265/35 and 305/30 tires, respectively. The interior has received its own significant overhaul – as is customary with all Mansory builds – and features fine leather, carbon fiber inlays, a carbon/leather sport steering wheel, floor mats, and an aluminum pedal set, while customers have virtually endless choices when it comes to customizing all of it.
Mansory Power
From there, S-Class customers have two choices in terms of performance upgrades – the Mansory P880, or the Mansory P950. The former offering delivers 880 horsepower and 1,100 pound-feet of torque, while the P950 cranks out an astounding 950 horsepower and 1,154 pound-feet. Both utilize a special control unit with modified mapping, an upgraded exhaust with free-flowing cats, larger superchargers, and an integrated airbox to deliver scintillating performance – in fact, the P950 can scoot from 0-62 mph in just 3.1 seconds.
As for the cost of all this, well, one will need to inquire about that, but the Mansory P950 and P880 are both available to order now. If nothing else, they have plenty to offer Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance owners seeking not only more performance and unique looks but also, one heck of a cool interior upgrade, to boot.
