A new 2025 GMC Terrain AT4 has been teased by the company with a new headlight design.
The GMC Terrain AT4 will be a fully redesigned version of the small crossover SUV and will be fully revealed later this year.
What to expect for the 2025 GMC Terrain AT4
Looking at the recently redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox, the sibling to the GMC Terrain, we can assume several things.
First, the GMC Terrain will be 2.3″ wider than the outgoing model and, with other exterior changes, looks larger and has a bold look.
Second, the cabin will be filled with the latest technology including a larger 11.3″ diagonal infotainment screen allowing for bigger buttons and better views of various cameras.
Third, a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine will be under the hood. This will be a carry-over powertrain mated to either the old 9-speed automatic or an 8-speed automatic like the Equinox uses. The AT4 will most likely still only be offered in all-wheel drive.
Fourth, there will be various standard and available safety features like side bicyclist alert, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-traffic braking.
Fifth, the GMC Terrain AT4 will most likely see a slight price increase while the base model will likely hold its same price. The bigger price increases will come with higher-trim levels and options packages.
The bottom line
GMC SUVs are being refreshed with a new 2024 GMC Acadia, new 2025 GMC Yukon coming in the next month and now this teaser of the GMC Terrain. The new GMC Terrain should keep it competitive in a segment that has blown up in the past few years.
