1934 Packard Super Eight Model 1104, Coupe (On loan from the Estate of Harvey Knight)

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, GA announced the opening of their newest temporary exhibit, Prominent Packards. Want to know more about a Packard? “Ask the Man Who Owns One.” For more than 60 years, Packard Motor Car Company produced some of the most sought-after, reliable, and luxurious cars on the market at the time. This exhibition features examples from the brand’s iconic production models. The exhibit is open from August 6 – December 1, 2024. Vehicles comprising this exhibit include:

  • 1924 Packard 136, 4 Passenger Coupe (On loan from the Lane Family of Madison, GA)
  • 1930 Packard 740 Roadster (On loan from The Classic Car Club of America Museum, Hickory Corners, MI)
  • 1931 Packard Derham Roadster (On loan from Donald Ghareeb and his daughter Elizabeth Ghareeb, Vestavia Hills, AL)
  • 1934 Packard Super Eight Model 1104, Coupe (On loan from the Estate of Harvey Knight)
  • 1937 Packard Model 120-C Convertible Coupe (On loan from the Estate of Harvey Knight)
  • 1941 Packard 120 4 Door Wagon Deluxe (Woodie) (Savoy Collection)
  • 1941 Packard 180 Series 2 LeBaron Sport Brougham (Savoy Collection)
  • 1947 Packard Custom Super Eight Clipper 4-Door Touring Sedan (Savoy Collection)
  • 1948 Packard Standard Eight, Model 2201 Station Wagon (Woodie) (Savoy Collection)
  • 1949 Packard Super Deluxe Eight Victoria Convertible (Savoy Collection)
  • 1953 Packard Caribbean, 2-Door Convertible (On loan from Marion Benson)

Savoy Automobile Museum is located at 3 Savoy Lane, Cartersville, GA 30120. Hours of operation are Tuesday – Sunday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. For more information visit savoymuseum.org.
