Classics and Muscle Cars For Sale in Youngsville

The Raleigh Spring Classic Collector Car Auction turned out to be one of the most historic sales in recent years. The impressive number of quality muscle cars offered here has rarely been seen elsewhere. As an example, a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Convertible set a record, selling for $282,500. One great muscle car after another crossed the auction block. The atmosphere was electric.

We saw some of the most interesting muscle cars on the planet here in Youngsville, North Carolina as we attempted to gauge where collector values will be in the spring market. The prices being paid for top quality cars will determine whether prices are on the uptrend this year. There was some indication of that here in Raleigh. A great selection of wood bodied station wagons was also offered here at the Raleigh Classic. You could come here to see some of the most valuable cars in the collector car market all in one place.

Here are some of the great cars we were lucky enough to see on Saturday.

Several unique collections of classic cars and muscle cars were offered for sale here at the Raleigh Spring Classic, May 6-7, 2022. An amazing number of 1970-72 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 convertibles and Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 convertibles were offered on Saturday. Likewise, an unbelievable selection of wood bodied station wagons crossed the auction block here at the Capitol Auto Auction facility in Youngsville.

We look at auctions like this one in Raleigh as a barometer for the collector car market in general. There are so many great cars that go through this auction, you can really get a gauge on how collector car pricing is trending.

On Saturday, Cars-On-Line hosted an auction watching party on their Facebook page. It is something COL does when they are covering one of the major collector car auctions around the country. Check their Facebook page to review some of their posts.
