A 1967 Lincoln Continental sedan purchased by Elvis Presley for his father, Vernon Presley, is currently on display at the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum.

Hickory Corners, MI – A 1967 Lincoln Continental sedan purchased by Elvis Presley for his father, Vernon Presley, is currently on display at the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum. The museum is located in Hickory Corners, Michigan on the campus of the Gilmore Car Museum.

The Lincoln was purchased new by Elvis Presley at Shilling Motors of Memphis, Tennessee. It was driven in and around Memphis by both Presleys. Following Elvis Presley’s death the Lincoln was on display for more than 40 years at an Elvis Presley museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It remains in original, unrestored condition.

The Lincoln is on loan from its current owner, Black Horse Motors of Massillon, Ohio.

Factory price of a 1967 Lincoln Continental sedan was $6,450. The car was built on a 126-inch wheelbase chassis and was powered by a Lincoln motor that developed 340 horsepower. Weight was 5,050 pounds.
