It took several years, but Ford got around to expanding its high-performance off-road Raptor lineup, which now includes the Ranger and Bronco. Like their F-150 Raptor sibling, they offer more power to help them crawl over rocks and fly over sand dunes. For those seeking to make their 2024 Ranger Raptor or 2022-2024 Bronco Raptor even more ferocious, Ford Performance Parts has a new software calibration.

In addition to improving throttle response and optimizing shifts, the upgrade significantly increases the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6’s horsepower and torque. Ranger Raptor owners will see their horsepower jump 12 percent from 405 to 455 horsepower and torque shoot up approximately 25 percent from 430 to 536 lb-ft. The Bronco Raptor has higher stock figures of 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft, but the software mod will enable it to hit the same peak numbers as the Ranger Raptor.

The software calibrations can be purchased online (click here for the Ranger Raptor, click here for the Bronco Raptor) for $825 or with Ford Pass Rewards points and installed at a Ford dealership.

Or there’s the option of registering your vehicle and attending the Raptor Rally, “an exclusive one-day event near the Ford Performance Racing School in Fairfield, Utah, on Sept. 21,” so you can receive a 20% off coupon to use on the calibration tool and other accessories on the Ford Performance parts site. The rally’s $500 entry fee covers your vehicle, you, and a guest for a day of off-roading, trail rides, workshops, meet-and-greets with professional off-road racers, hot laps, meals, and more. Either way you go, the calibrations are protected by the Ranger Raptor’s or Bronco Raptor’s three-year, 36,000-mile Ford Performance parts warranty.
