Audrain Automobile Museum

NEWPORT, R.I. – The 35th exhibit at the Audrain Automobile Museum, titled “Magic of Monaco,” is set to open on Saturday, December 14, 2024, and run through March 9, 2025. This exhibit will showcase a stunning collection of rally and grand prix cars, along with original period race posters, medals, race programs, and advertising material covering the walls from the renowned collection of Murray Smith.

Visitors to the museum can expect to be transported into the glamorous world of Monaco’s rich racing history through a visually captivating display of iconic vehicles and historical memorabilia. The exhibit promises to offer a blend of art, history, and automotive innovation, providing a comprehensive look at the evolution of racing culture in Monaco.

Included in the “Magic of Monaco” exhibit are rare and prestigious race cars such as a 1929 Bugatti Type 37A, 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C-35, 1956 Maserati 250F, 1958 Behra Porsche F2, 1960 Lotus 18 Formula Jr, 1985 Martini Lancia Delta S4, 1988 Prost McLaren MP4/4, and 1997 Schumacher/ Irvine Ferrari F310B, among others. Also on view are original period race posters by renowned graphic artists, including, Robert Falcucci, Jean Ramel, Renee Lorenzi, and Roger Broders.
