Hilton Head Island, SC – The Grand Motoring Film Festival, North America’s only competitive automotive film festival, will open the curtain for its 8th amazing outing, set to take place at 5p.m. October 31, 2024 at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina. Presented by Hilton Head Capital Partners, Broad Arrow Auctions, Hagerty and Real Motors, this year’s festival promises a full-throttle celebration of motoring culture with a lineup of exciting films, awards program recognizing the year’s top films, exclusive car displays, and celebrity appearances, all while kicking off the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance weekend in style.
The 2024 edition boasts a star-studded lineup of films from nine different countries and 15 different US states, vying for top honors in multiple juried categories. Headlining the event is the theatrical premiere of The Path to Pebble, a finalist in the Documentary Short Film Category. This compelling film showcases McPherson College’s remarkable restoration journey, with a 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300S Cabriolet that placed second at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The car itself will be on display, a testament to the students’ achievement and dedication to preserving automotive heritage.
Another highlight is the anniversary screening of The Red Grifo, marking a decade since the film’s creation. This exclusive showing will feature the never-before-seen director’s cut, telling the story of the iconic 1969 Iso Grifo and its multi-generational legacy. The star car, the Iso Grifo, will also be displayed, giving attendees a chance to see this rare Italian-American masterpiece up close.
Headlining the festival is The Cannonball Run Countach – Supercar Legend, a high-octane tribute to one of the most recognizable supercars in film history. Fans of the legendary Lamborghini Countach and its role in automotive cinema won’t want to miss this thrilling feature. The film encapsulates the roaring spirit of the Cannonball Run and its supercar legacy.
In addition to these feature films, the festival will present a selection of nominated short films, providing a wide range of motoring stories that will engage enthusiasts of all ages.

The Grand Motoring Film Festival is not just about films—it’s a full sensory experience for car lovers. Attendees will have the chance to see an extraordinary collection of cars, including:

Additionally, participants from Two Lane Touring’s inaugural Hilton Head Rally will conclude their four-day journey at the festival, with their cars and teams—ranging from Ferrari 330 America to a McLaren Mercedes SLR—on display for attendees to admire.
