CARLISLE, PA – After more than a one-year hiatus from the automotive scene in Central Florida, Carlisle Auctions is announced its return to Lakeland and the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in 2025. Based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the Carlisle Auctions team brings its brand of classic and collector car excitement back to Polk County on February 7-8, with two days of fast-paced auction fun and over 400 planned consignments.
The auction starts at 10:30 AM each day and features about 200 consignments per day, including past, present, and future collector cars. There’s a heavy emphasis on muscle cars, but the event also includes exotics, imports, motorcycles, street rods, rat rods, and trucks. In fact, on February 7 at approximately 1:30 PM, Carlisle Auctions will reintroduce its popular All-Truck Hour to the Lakeland gallery of buyers and sellers. For a full 60 minutes, nothing but trucks (or truck-like vehicles) will cross the block. This may also include vans and SUVs.
ALL NEW for February 2025, Carlisle Auctions is adding an All-Jeep Hour. The Jeep showcase is planned for Saturday, February 8 at 12 PM. This is a great compliment to not only the auction but to Jeep culture where there’s no shortage of Jeep-themed events. Consigning to sell or registering to bid for the All-Truck or All-Jeep hours follow standard auction procedures.
Beyond the thrill of the auction, Carlisle Auctions is partnering with Steve Muschlitz and Wheels from the Heart to sell a vehicle for a charitable cause. Wheels from the Heart is a Jensen Beach, Florida-based organization whose mission is to give the gift of a reliable vehicle to single moms with children, helping them drive to a better life. Owning a dependable means of transportation makes nearly every aspect of life better, including getting groceries, commuting to work, participating in social activities, and managing school drop-offs and pickups.
Since being nominated in 2016 for the Men with Caring Hearts Award, Steve and his team have donated hundreds of cars to moms in need. The specific vehicles to be auctioned are yet to be determined, but once identified, 100% of the proceeds raised during their auction time will be donated to Wheels from the Heart.
Bring the family to enjoy the auction and everything the facility has to offer. The SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus is not only an active airport, with a variety of planes coming and going throughout the auction, but it also features planes on display, ample on-ground camping options, and a museum perfect for all ages.
Carlisle Auctions is actively registering bidders for the February auction and is also accepting quality consignments. Additionally, Carlisle Auctions offers three great ways to bid: in person, over the phone, or online. Not buying or selling but still looking for some auction excitement? Spectator admission is just $10, with ample free parking available near the heart of the action. Forms, flyers, details, and more are available online at CarlisleAuctions.com or by calling 717-960-6400.
