Saturday may be the first day of the weekend to most folks, but at the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, October 12 was like Christmas, the Super Bowl, and your birthday all rolled into one. This Super Saturday—one of four days of the auction presented by Gila River Resorts & Casinos—had the heaviest of the heavy hitters on the docket. Do you like Ferraris? Check. The best of Dearborn’s Blue Oval? Check. Famous peeps? Check. Any cherries on top are up to you.

Sammy Hagar, the guy who drove a bad motor scooter before he had issues staying within the speed limit, joined Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson and President Steve Davis on the auction block to witness a new world-record auction: $4.675 million for Sammy’s 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari.

Cars with the Ford logo also made strong showings, with several GTs and classic Mustangs proving that “Total Performance” wasn’t just a passing fancy. Here’s the full list of top 10 sales from the third day of the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction.

The sellers weren’t the only ones smiling. The Detroit Children’s Fund, a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring every child in Detroit has access to an excellent education, will be receiving $550,000 from the sale of the first retail production 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ (yup, VIN 001!).

Of course, it wasn’t just vehicles being auctioned, as the Automobilia Auction is what started the day to whet the observers’ automotive appetites. The top sale price was an impressive $80,500 for a 1920s Texaco Oil visible gas pump. That was followed by a special presentation from the Friends of Freedom Foundation.  Together with the Tribute to Valor Foundation, they are sending children from Arizona’s San Carlos Apache Reservation to NASA in Houston for three days so they can participate in STEM programs.

There’s one more day left to enjoy the Barrett-Jackson 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction: Sunday, October 13 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Be sure to catch the livestream at TV.Barrett-Jackson.com.
