Yesterday, we got the keys to a shiny new 2025 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport. Not much has changed about it since my colleague Luke Lamendola reviewed last year’s model. But my evaluation of the ’25 Ridgeline TrailSport will be very different.
For 2024, Honda thoroughly updated its midsize Ridgeline pickup. All trim levels got a new seven-inch digital instrument panel, a larger nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a redesigned center console.
The biggest change to the Ridgeline was the addition of the outdoorsy TrailSport model. Like its siblings, the TrailSport delivered its 3.5-liter V6’s power through a nine-speed automatic and i-VTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, but it came equipped with all-terrain General Grabber tires, a specially tuned suspension, and a steel oil pan skid plate to make it more capable over rough terrain.
Luke told you all about the 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport’s exterior, interior, and driving highlights. I’ll give you my own take on those with the ’25 model, but I’ll also be using it to move some furniture and taking it off-road. If you have any questions you’d like me to answer about the 2025 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport as part of my review, feel free to post them in the comments below.
