Weird Things We’ve Seen in Cars: Drive the Bid Podcast

If you’re not a high-profile politician, A-list actor, or headlining musician, it’s reasonable to expect privacy. But no matter who you are, if you’re driving, everyone else near you on the road can see what you’re doing – whether they want to or not. On this week’s episode of AutoHunter’s Drive the Bid Podcast, Diego Rosenberg, Luke Lamendola, and I discuss the strange things we’ve seen happen in cars, including shaving and the world’s coolest dog riding shotgun through Carlsbad, California.

We also share the sad news that Porsche will discontinue the internal-combustion versions of the 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster in mid-2025 to make room for their all-electric replacements.

We follow that up with four funny car-related memes (one of which may anger a certain segment of the GM enthusiast community).

To wrap things up, the guys and I give our listeners and viewers the highlights of our favorite vehicles currently on AutoHunter. Diego tells everyone about a 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG that has a supercharged V8 and a convertible hardtop.

Luke, a Jeep owner, is partial to a 2006 Wrangler X with a two-inch lift.

I’m drawn to a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible with a matching removable hardtop and a 3-speed manual gearbox. There’s still time to bid on all three of these vehicles so click the links above and get started.
