  • 6.8L Gas V8 engine is now standard on XL, XLT, and Lariat pickup includes the TorqShift automatic 10-speed transmission
  • 7.3L Gas V8 engine on F-250 Pickup (without Tremor package) includes the TorqShift-G automatic 10-speed transmission
  • SuperCab pickup cab configuration will only be available on XL and XLT SRW with 8-foot box
  • 2kW Pro Power Onboard is now optional on King Ranch and Platinum
  • SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is now offered as a Dealer Installed Option
  • Trailer Brake Controller is now optional on XL
  • Onboard Scales and Smart Hitch now become optional on King Ranch
  • Upfitter Switches optional on Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum
  • New Ford Security Package (1-year included with activation)
  • Exterior
    • All tow hooks are black
    • Fixed Rear Window w/ Defrost and Privacy Glass becomes standard on Lariat
  • Interior
    • Available all-weather floor mats (N/A on King Ranch®and Platinum)
    • ActiveX Seating Material is standard on Lariat
    • Wrapped Steering Wheel is standard on Lariat

Pricing is largely the same as the prior 2024 model year. Ford told us the Platinum Plus package will add $6,500 to the price. Order books are open now.

All Ford Super Duty trucks are assembled at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant and Ohio Assembly Plant.

The bottom line

A more luxury trim package with the Platinum Plus, more tech and changes to packaging, with more standard equipment that goes beyond things like suspension that is intended for extreme loads thanks to upgraded spring testing. These aren’t ground breaking changes, just more evolutionary for the best-selling truck lineup in the country.
