Several high profile sales highlighted the action here at the 19th Annual Ft Lauderdale Collector Car Auction in Ft Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday. Kid Rock’s 2005 Ford GT was the top sale of the day when it was sold for $638,000 (including buyer’s commission.) The Mark IV Red Ford GT is said to have only 3,096 miles. It was one of the highly promoted feature vehicles of the auction. 2005 was the first year of production for this historically important Ford GT. It was produced to commemorate the legendary Ford GT-40’s that won Lemans in the 1960’s.

Cars-On-Line.com hosted an auction watching party on their Facebook page on Saturday, the second day of the sale. As usual, RM Sotheby’s live stream of the Ft Lauderdale Auction could be viewed on your computer screen, tablet or cell phone.  You can review some of the top cars in the sale.
