The 2025 GMC Sierra HD will now have more standard technology in some trims as well as more available safety features.

2025 GMC Sierra HD key changes

Kicking off the list is the AT4 and Denali trims will now get standard Adaptive Cruise control with trailering.

This technology can make trailering less stressful by allowing the truck and trailer to safely slow and speed up with traffic flow without driver input.

It has been available throughout the GMC Sierra HD lineup (Pro, SLE, SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali and Denali Ultimate).

GMC says this change means nearly 70% of the lineup will have Adaptive Cruise (with trailering as an additional feature above this) as standard technology. This number grows to 80% if you focus solely on crew cab configurations.

Lastly, GMC will expand front and rear park assist to the Pro and SLE trims as part of the Sierra HD Pro Safety Plus package.

Order books open for the 2025 GMC Sierra HD in June, 2024.
